ABOUT
DR JH JONCK
I've been practicing as an orthopaedic surgeon in Windhoek, Namibia, since 2011.
I received my medical and orthopaedic training at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa, followed by a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at Mercy Medical Centre, Baltimore, USA, tutored by the world renowned Dr Mark Myerson.
I believe that mobility adds quality to life. Pain free, stable, well aligned feet and ankles form the keystone of human propulsion.
My practice offers a professional and caring orthopaedic service, supplemented by orthotists, physiotherapists, biokineticists, and state of the art medical imaging.
I serve on the medical advisory board of Steps2Walk, an international humanitarian non-profit organization that offers foot and ankle surgical training to local orthopaedic surgeons, and much needed foot and ankle reconstructive surgery to patients, in under-serviced communities around the world.
